Transportation

Lyon is easy to reach by plane, train and car. It is served by the airport
Saint-Exupery from which the city center can be reached by taxi (relatively
expensive, especially between 8 PM and 8 AM and on Sundays) in
about 20 minutes and by shuttle bus (SATO Bus).

Train de Grande Vitesse (TGV) connections are easily made from Paris (2 hours), Marseille (2 hours) or Geneva (1 hour). If you land in Paris at Charles de Gaulle Roissy airport, there is a TGV station right at the airport from which several trains per day go to Lyon. There are two stops in Lyon, La Gare Part Dieu and La Gare Perrache. The former is closer to the conference center.

By car Lyon is on the autoroute A6 coming from Paris and A7 from Marseille.
